After 22 and 1/2 weeks finally got our first egg. We had slowed to three eggs a day from our 6 Barred rock bantams. We have 4 22 and 1/2 week old Australorps and 2 EE's that are 19 weeks old. I thought we would never get any other eggs. Maybe this is the start to more eggs. The weather here has been over bearing. Like 40 days in a row of 100 to 115 heat index. This week has been in the low 90's with some rain mixed in. Almost feels like you can take a breath again. Anybody else have troubles with the heat this year?

Wooo Hooo....congrats on your first egg. I'm still waiting.

We had heat problems here in New England, this summer, but I'm sure it was not so bad as where you live [IMG]
