first blue egg!

The day we've long awaited- we got our first blue egg yesterday! It's adorable, kind of oblong and a pale green/blue. Now I just wish we had more EE pullets. We were supposed to have 3. One turned out to be a cockerel and one met an untimely demise. Maybe next year we'll add more.

They're 24.5 weeks old. I think this was the last one we were waiting on to lay.
