Its day 20-21 and despite problems with the temperature and humidity I have my first chick out. I had the temps spike to 104 twice and 107 once. I went into lockdown with 17 shipped Dorking eggs and 5 of my own mixed breeds. All of the shipped eggs looked good. And the air cells on mine looked good but are too dark to see anything of the chicks. the first chick is a Dorking. These were really good shipped eggs. out of 18, only 1 didn't develop. I had no loose air cells either. I was really lucky on shipping. Here's hoping for a good hatch. I hear another peeping.
