Hey, team! Hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful Christmas! I started backyard chicken keeping last year and my young Silkie roo and his two hens are laying eggs daily. We are incubating them with a 100% success rate thus far. What color type are these silkie chicks? How will they look?! Whay type of color pattern is our rooster? Just genetics type questions. Thanks for helping a newbie. Cheers! 20181222_103917.jpg 20181222_113450.jpg

He doesn't seem to be any particular color. Just guessing he's probably a poor quality silver, or something.

Very cute! He resembles the lemon blue game cockerels on feathersite, but he's more of a red blue. Anyone else?
The chicks are beautiful! Post photos later!!!
