Well, my 2 Buff Orpingtons have started to push out 'real' feathers, aside from their wings. Is there a special name for this phase?

It is so cute to see them flap their wings and stretch them, especially when they stick their leg out behind them to stretch it. [IMG]

PS, the 2 Black Australorps have yet to start putting out real feathers - they should be coming soon though right? They are almost 3 weeks old.

It is cute when they stretch, isn't it [IMG] Some of mine would sometimes fall over when first trying.

My 6 BRs are about 2 weeks old and when they stretch out like that, it looks like they're doing chicken yoga, ha ha!
