First day of school for us..

Mackenzie is in 2nd grade, and she of course is a old pro! and very excited to go!!

Kayla was a bit nervous right after i took the pic, she is in Kindergarten this year and a little scared! but she followed her sister right onto the bus

and now my house is quiet, what do i do now??? BOTH my babies are gone.... waaaaaa

We start school on Sept 7. Another whole week.

We're in our second week here. Already got the first test grades back. Already had the first crisis over getting work done but already resolved it (I hope!). New school year, new year of 4-H, new year of dance classes, new year of trying to resolve the inevitable conflicts between the three!

I know what you mean. 3 kids, soccer, volleyball, 4H, school work, my work..... I don't like school very much. Shhhhh!

kayla is home, kinda mad at the school tho! yesterday i asked her teacher if i pick kayla up at noon, he said yes. today i had to drop a friends daughter off at school, at 11:30 and thought i had plenty of time only to get a call at 11:45 from the principle asking if i was picking kayla up! then she told me that kindergarten gets out at 11:15 !!! UGH im so mad at the teacher!

she did have a good, fun day tho!

I dread the day my youngest goes to Pre-k! (which is next year)
...its going to be awkward!

Glad she likes it!
...and they really let out that early? When my son was even in Pre-k they had about a 7 hour day!

mackenzie had a blast at school today also! but now kayla is crying saying she doesnt want to go to class tomorrow

hope that attitude is short lived!
