I've had chickens for about 1.5 years now, but I forgot when I started free ranging my first batch. I've got 4 guineas and 5 chickens (various kinds), all about 2-3 months. When should I start free ranging?
Also, had some seriously determined raccoons (lost 5 birds), this is what it took to stop them; welded wire, electric fence, and a board reinforcing the bottom. (just an FYI)
