First day with my first 2 chickens

So I just got my first to chickens...I decided to get them already laying...white sexlink...let the kids name them...never allow this to happen because their names end up being Juan and Two...the next 4 I pick up on Thursday...thought this would be a good way to make everything works good!

Here they are! I live near a livestock auction house...as soon as I set them free in their new home a run away rooster showed up...crazy! I have no idea what kind of rooster he is...smaller than both of my new hens! Off to a good start! Can't wait to get my first eggs!

Good luck with them! Can you post of picture of your mystery rooster? I may be able to determine the breed.

Was raining today so I didn't get a pic of the fantom rooster...I did get my first two eggs
