Well not for the first time ever, BUT for my Splash Wyandotte it was her first egg!! She laid it this morning around 10:57am, it was beautiful! She made a nice big nest in one of the coops, but kept going from one coop to the other unable to decide where to lay. Finally she settled down and after about an hour here came the egg!! She came out squacking the egg song and there it was, teeeny tiny! 1.6 ounces and boyyy is it little [IMG] tiny pullet egg! Kinda pointy too, but a beautiful light pink color! [IMG] will post pictures in a bit.

    YAY BUTTERNUT!

ETA: She has been squatting for 4 days before this.

That's a beautiful egg and Butternut is a beautiful girl!! I have a 19 week old EE named Butternut. We're still waiting for an egg from her, but my two RIR just started laying. It's so exciting to see that first egg!!!
