FIRST EGG FROM MY TWO HENS!!!

My 140(About 20 weeks) day old hens Nelly and Blue laid an egg today(Not sure which one laid it but I think it was my RIR Blue) Little mini brown egg today YAYYYYY!!!!

Do you know how long it takes usually to get the second egg no eggs yet today. We fried it by the way!

Fresh eggs for breakfast, easy to get used to that! How fast the second egg shows up varies. 20 weeks is a little early to start laying so the next one may take a little time, but in general with the more productive layer breeds like RIR, I expect another one within two or three days, some will lay one the next day, some will take a week, but usually within a couple of days... of course the girls do what they want to do.
