Got my first egg today looks like a shooter marble but man is it pretty. I always thought the golden comets would be the first sinse their faces are red and they are older. Who would have guesed that the skinniest leghorn in my yard would be the first. All my chickens are fat and sassy except the leghorns. Was watching them the other day and one looked unconfortable it dug a hole under the sliding board then it moved to another hole and dug and dug. Then she jumped up and ran off again kind of crazy acting, but you kind of have to expect that from the 2 leghorns. They just do what ever they want , like stealing my 5 year olds bisquet now that was funny. I am just tickled I didn't think they would ever lay. Doeboy
