Went out to the coop this morning and found a broken eggshell in the nest. Bummed I didn't get it before it broke. Now I'm excited and have been checking the box every couple of hrs.[IMG] My question is do they start laying consistently right off the bat or is it varied starting off.[IMG]

Mine just started laying yesterday. I didn't think she would lay again today but all of a sudden she went missing and when I went to look for her she was in her little box and I just went out there and picked a fresh little egg up!!!

I hope you get an intact egg next time. [IMG]

    Congrats!
Mine didn't lay consistently at first, but it's been a couple of weeks now and we're getting at least two eggs everyday.
