First Egg !!!!! Woohoo!!!!

After 7 long months. My smallest hen (Rhode Island red) laid me an egg. It's a little egg. But it's an egg none the less. Proud of my girl !!!!

My chicken didnt lay its first egg til 8 months. I thought it was a dud. LOL I change her food then 2 days later I got a small egg just like yours. After that the eggs were all normal size. I had a Plymouth Rock. You'll notice the brown egg shells r a little tougher to crack open.
