First egg

I’m excited as a newcomer to raising quail (bobwhites). North central Texas and first egg ever since started last December.
Let’s see how quick they come now with my 16 hens and 6 males.

Saw a nest depression a Bob hen made no eggs from them yet.

Got first couple cot eggs yesterday.

So they should be in full laying force soon.

Thanks. Haven’t checked for more yet and will later today. Maybe wait for few days and see how much more before start to pickup and store for incubator.
