Found this today, nestled up nicely next to the plastic egg I put in the nest box a couple of days ago. Thank you Peach! That must be why she was funny with me this morning when I was trying to clean the coop - she wanted to get in and lay!

No, but they're Warren hybrids - bred for all-year-round egg production. I've been told they slow down in winter, but still pop them out every couple of days, even without extra light!

I'm so impressed with Peach. Three eggs in three-and-a-half days, despite the dismal weather and lack of lighting! My son had the honour of eating the first one for his breakfast today - it looked yummy!
