First egg!

    From a Townline Hatchery BR at 19 weeks. Store white large in background for comparison.

    She started "growling" and getting agitated yesterday, so I set up a nest box today, and voila, within 1/2 hr., eggciting development!

    1st eggs are great...and for me all the eggs that follow are great.

    I still love going to check for eggs [​IMG] each day..[​IMG]

    I got my 1st egg from my second batch of chickens a couple days ago...a cute little bugger!!

    Oh I am so jealous, I want eggs so bad. My 5 production reds are 13 almost 14 weeks old, the others are large breeds and I know they will not lay yet. I will be beside myself when I finally get one. Enjoy![​IMG]
