So egg-cited!!! This morning was out doing chores and went to check if there were eggs and one of my almost 19 week old BR pullets was in one of the nesting boxes. When I got home from work I went to check it, and I had a small brownish egg with small speckles on it!!!!! COMPLETELY different color egg than the ones I currently get from my banties!!! YEAH!!!!

Wow! 19 weeks. That's pretty early, isn't it? Good deal! I can't wait for mine to start laying.

How exciting. I canʻt wait. My girls are 19 1/2 weeks and Iʻm expecting one any day. I was sure today was the day because for the first time they were in the nest box. But only poop. Alas.
    Congratulations.

1 of my 16 week old golden comets is laying, she has small (smaller than a golf ball) sized brown eggs with white speckles on them. I've also just found a white egg in the nesting box today. I'm baffled as to who laid it, I thought all my hens (except the americaunas and the auracauna) laid brown eggs.
