So, finally my Japanese quails (I ended up realizing that they weren't Chinese quails haha) have laid! This is the first egg that I've found and I'm super excited! Since it's the first one it probably isn't fertile tho, so it may end up in the frying pan tonight :)

Yes wait a couple of weeks to try to incubate. When you do start collecting eggs to incubate, you can collect them for a week or ten days so you can set more in the incubator at the same time. Just keep the eggs at between 50 and 70 degrees and turn them a few times a day while you are saving them.
