I went to clean the poop boards this morning and found our bantham hen had somehow got her little neck caught between the spaces between the wood on our Adirondack chair. Was no saving her

So sorry. I had my first loss a few months ago. One of my birds, a cranky Australorp either fell off or was pushed off the highest roost and must have hit her head on something hard.

I would have been more broken hearted had it been any other hen besides her.
