First Mille Fleur egg!

    And to think, just a short while ago, I was worried we might have a banty rooster! [​IMG]
    A couple of days ago, the one I was concerned about (she's long been shy or standoffish), actually let me near her and then totally reassured me by doing "The Squat" and letting me pet her!
    Well, this evening, after I got them all locked up, I remembered I hadn't done an egg check today,so I did,and the usual white Leghorn egg, and one brown one (either the NHR or Comet) and a TINY CREAM-COLORED EGG! [​IMG] One of the D'Uccles has begun to lay!
    (If only I hadn't closed my cellphone in the car door the other day, [​IMG] smashing the touch screen--otherwise I could take a picture and post it here.)
