Does anyone use this in your coops/dirt runs? Is it effective? Thinking about using it in my dirt run to help with odor.

Add wood chips to your dirt run. That will help a lot better.

I would not use dyed wood product. Just plain chipped wood.
It helps keep things dry and cold composts the poop load.
Up here in NY many municipalities collect curbside branches, chip them up and offer them to the tax payers free of charge. I get wood chips by the truck load.
Maybe you could check with local Highway Departments and see if they offer them.
