First Serama Hatch - 14 of 14!

I am amazed! I am in shock! I am euphoric! I had 14 Serama eggs in incubator #1, 10 in incubator #2 (due to hatch next Friday)...All 14 eggs in incubator #1 were fertile, and all 14 hatched between last night and just a few minutes ago! I am using a Genesis 1588, hand turning just twice a day. I still have my fingers crossed for the next 24 hours, just in case that dreaded lethal gene I keep reading about rears it's ugly head...

Were these shipped eggs? Just curious. I have a 1588 and I have good hatches of my own eggs, but, I only hatched 1 out of 16 from shipped eggs, from TN to AL.

Not yet, but definitely tomorrow...I'll upload them and let everyone know! I'm waiting for some of them all to dry out in the 'bator before putting them in the brooder.

No, these were all mine, none shipped. I've heard that it is really hard to have successful hatches with shipped Seramas eggs...
