First Slaughter

    Simple question...How should i kill my bird and how should i pluck the feathers. I gained lots of knowledge off google but i just wanted to see if you guys had any other tips. I'm just starting with one bird so i don't overwhelm myself but any tips or shortcuts you guys can share would be appreciated. thanks.

    If you are just going to do one bird and if its a young bird you can dry pluck but .

    unless you just wan't to see how to scald eather way is fine.

    scalding the feathers come out easier. but smell like wet hot feathers.

    just go slow there is no rush to do enything .

    take the time to inspect and learn what everything is ,where it is and such.

    you ever cut up a chicken from the store ,its about the same

    your just going from start to finish with this one.
