first time bumblefoot treatment without antibiotic??

I found bumble foot on one of my hens. it is a small scab like thing, and her foot seems a bit swollen.

I have never had this before, and was wondering if I could cure it without a antibiotic?

I have been soaking it in salty water and dressing it with gaze and a wrap.

Also I am going to put Povidone-Iodine solution on it. do youi think it will heal it?

anything else I should know? or do???
