My wife and I have decided to start our own backyard flock. We are hoping to teach our two daughters the rewards of hardwork and responsibility, and a few dozen eggs never hurt.

We have 3 unknown Bantums, a Rhode Island Red, a Barred Rock, a Black Sex Link, and 4 Americaunas.

If you want to know what your bantams are, just post some photos of them either here or in the What Breed or Gender section: What Breed Or Gender is This? We'll be happy to help in any way we can.[IMG]

    Good luck with your flock!

The smaller chicks are the Bantums. They are about 2weeks old. Their feathers are coming in golden brown with traces of white and they have feathered feet. Any guess on which variety they are? They appear similar in color to my Rhode Island Red that appears in the first photo.
