    Hello guys!
I've been stalking the forums for awhile and decided to make an account. I've been researching into raising chicks but wanted to hear your guys opinions. I live in Gilbert, Arizona and it gets up to 115 degrees here so what is the best breed to go with? I'll mostly be using them to collect eggs. Also should I get a chick or one that's ready for the coop. Thanks! (I'm typing this in a hurry, I'll expand when I get home :))

My Pet Chicken has a breed selector tool that can help figure out which ones are heat tolerant.

I prefer to get them as chicks. They grow so quickly. Before you know it, they will be laying eggs.

    Good luck!
