first time clipping is it short enough?

hi guys new here so not sure if this is the right section or not but here is my question, i just got my first hens and clipped their wings today, did i do it short enough, was a bit worried id go too short, but dont want them hopping the run fence

That should be plenty short enough. I had a McCaw and I only clipped about the first 3 on her. Chickens may be different, I haven't clipped any of my chickens.

I've clipped a lot of cockatiels,parakeets and ducks and in my opinion you could easy go quite a bit shorter if necessary.
