Well, we made it this far. I had 13 shipped and 12 local eggs and 10 from each batch made it to lockdown on day 18. I don’t know if the air cells are ok. I don’t know if the humidity is ok. I put sponges in the bottom and they held at 65% humidity perfectly for about 36 hours then I woke up this morning to othe right one having dropped down to 35%. I panicked and added too much water (that’s what I get for acting before breakfast) to both and then lifted the lid to let some out a few times, because it was over 80. And that made me panic more!
Then I did it again later this afternoon because it dropped to 60 and I added too much and it jumped to 80. I have to remember to very literally do one drop at a time these things are ridicul
I’m freaking out, man.
No pipping or moving or squeaking.
I will obviously have to wake several times in the night to attempt to keep humidity ok. I don’t know. Someone just stick me in a closet and call me when they hatch or don’t hatch.
