Hi,
I got an incubator for Xmas and put 6 eggs in. I thought I’d just give it a try with 6 but didn’t know how many of those were fertilised. Did a candle with 4 days to go and it looks as though 2 are growing and wriggling around in there. couple of questions if I may. I’ve got nursery set up with lamp etc.
How long do I leave them in the incubator before moving them?
Will 2 be ok or does it need to be more so they can huddle?
Is there something I can do to help if there’s only 1 or 2?

It is best to leave them so you do not have a sudden drop in humidity and the unhatched and pipped eggs are able to hatch without difficulty. I have taken them out in less then an hour. Many people say to wait until they are dry and fluffy, but if you have a warm brooder they will be fine.
