Pretty excited about hatching some ducklings. Planning to keep just one with my flock and trying to sell the rest. Using a still air incubator keeping it between 40 and 55 for humidity. Temperature has been tough to keep straight, for the first day i was struggling to keep it below 103 but it didnt really reach higher, second day it was a little low between 95 and 98, today it seems to be just where i want it around 100. Should i put anything under the eggs in case they go explode or anything? Any advice for first time incubation let me know

If you're worried about them exploding, just candle them and you'll see if they're developing properly or if there's just bacteria growing inside. You can also smell bad/rotten eggs when they get to the point of almost exploding because of the gas build up from all the bacteria.
