First time ordering chicks in the mail....

so hows it work? do i gotta go pick em up at the post office or will they just ship to my doorstep....im ordering from myperchicken.com too so will it come from fed ex, USPS, or just the mail man?

Hey bud,

They always come via US Postal Service.

My chicks arrived to our Post Office on a Sunday morning and one of the workers put them in her little truck and delivered them right to our doorstep. This was from McMurray.

Ordinarily, the Post Office will call you when they arrive and you go there to pick them up. Make sure you warn your PO that you have chicks coming, and when, otherwise they may stay on a loading dock in the cold until they start sorting packages.

I got a phone call at around 5:30 AM to come git my chickens.

They peeped and peeped and peeped.

That flippin' early hour started one of the more fun days of my life.
