First timer chicks!!!!

    Here's the run down of what I ordered! I hope I didn't confuse them with another breed and get some that are mean. I do have one that seems to be a bully not sure what's up her vent! [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] poor humor sorry! And all should be cold hardy unless I'm mistaken.

    Nice variety. There's always a lead chicken, even when young. The strongest survive. I haven't owned any breeds that aren't winter hardy.

    So I'm a first timer myself and am curious if you're supossed to give chicks electrolytes from the start as a general rule or only if they don't seem happy and healthy?

    I will give it to shipped chicks for up to a week to help them recover, ones I hatch I don't bother with it.
