First Turkeys, midget whites, need advice

I just hatched my first Turkeys. That are midget whites. What % protein should I feed? Until what age do they get that protein? Do midget whites get treated different then any other breeds? Any other info about them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Turkey poults should be started using a high protein turkey or gamebird starter. I have seen it recommended that they get the high protein starter for the first 6 weeks followed by a turkey or gamebird grower.

Midget Whites are heritage turkeys and there is only one breed. The others are just different color heritage varieties and of course the broad breasted meat varieties also.

I feed my poults 28% protein turkey/gamebird starter while they are in the brooder. Depending on circumstances, I may feed it to them for up to four weeks. I have also switched them to 24% turkey/gamebird grower at two weeks old.
