I'm with ya!! Set a dozen of each RIR, BO and Deleware about 6 last night!! My first venture into incubating so keep your fingers crossed!

Hi everyone

I put 15 shipped BLRW eggs in the incubator yesterday morning and have a dozen+ more eggs coming next Wed.

This will be my 3rd hatch. Good luck to all ~ I'll be watching this post to see how everyone's hatches are coming along

How's it going out there?! Has anyone candled yet? I tried a few eggs on day 3- I didn't see anything in 2 of them, but I did see a vein in one.

This is my first time, so it is hard to know what I am looking at and I am nervous that I will get the egg to hot on the candler (just a 100 watt bulb and a box).

I candled last night and not really sure about any of my eggs. I dont see any veins just what looks like the yolk inside the eggs. I'm using a flashlight to candle with right now. I'm on day 5 now.

I tried the LED flash light and it was too hard to hold and get the proper view. The two eggs I didn't see anything just looked like the yoke floating around. I did it on day 3, maybe too hard to tell? I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!
