    Congrats!!!! I have 55 hens and have collected 8 eggs today. EIGHT! Slackers.

    LOL I'm not sure who laid it either, had to be either my New Hampshire or Rhode Island... the Favorelles are a couple weeks older, but haven't shown an interest in the nest boxes. Plus the two Reds have red combs and faces.

    Now, I am pretty sure I have three hens laying... But I've only caught TWO in the nesting box... the New Hampshire and the Norwegian Jaerhon. So, the only other one that is remotely seeming ready is the Barred rock, but I have three distinctive egg colors.
