Fishing worms or earth worms

question for anyone really......can my hens eat good ol' fishing worms without getting sick with anything (i.e.; gapeworms) ? Husband wants to know.

Mine forage daily. From time to time they dig up an earthworm and eat it. I don't worry.

For special treats I get my girls fishing worms. Want to see a show get some crickets. Put a stick in the container so they can climb out stand back and watch. I call it my red neck cable
