My five week old chicks are getting out to graze more and more now. I have four adult hens and the chicks are grazing on the spilled lay feed? Is this going to hurt my five week old hens?

Chickens under 16 weeks of age should not eat layer feed at all. The high calcium content of layer feed harms their kidneys. Even small amounts now and then can harm them.

I'd stop feeding the older hens layer feed and get flock raiser for all of them. You can offer a calcium supplement for the older hens and you'll be good to go
