    I don't know there are ALOT of beautiful roosters out there! I like the BO BR RIR SPH .... so on so forth!!! My list is very long ... can't list all the breeds!!!!!!!!!!

    There are some CRAZY FLASHY mutt roos out there...but they are like costume jewelry. They are desireable, they have value, but what to compare them to? All mine are mutt roos, but how do you judge one that looks like Alice Cooper against one that looks like a flower garden.

    Poor guys have complexes....

    I guess what I'm really looking for is the prettiest MEAT birds. I have a few people that know I'm raising chickens now and want feathers or whole pelts when I get ready to butcher, and I don't want to get birds that aren't meaty enough to eat just for feathers.

    How about a dual purpose breed, like Wyandottes or Marans?

    Both of them have some very flashy color patterns - anything laced for Wyandottes, black copper and wheaten for the Marans.
