Can someone recommend a flashlight that would work well as a candler?
I have a mini mag light. Works great!
On the DVD 'Regarding Chickens' he recommends the mini mag light also.

I purchased the 9 LED flashlight ( about the size of a mini mag) at trator supply wasn't too happy with it until I black taped a washer hose gasket to the top helps So much with extra light around the edges and it works so much better
Wildsky, that light would come in handy if you are candleling T-Rex eggs.
So, is a mini-mag what its called? Is that the brand name, or is that the type? Im sorry I sound so stupid, to me a flashlight is a flashlight.
Yes, Mag light is the brand and look-a-likes are not the same. The Mini Mag light is only around 9" and is easy to hold. You can dial the light down to a very fine point. You can get them at Lowes,HD and Walmart. They take two double A batteries. I use one and it works great. I tried a regular flashlight and it does a poor job. You need the fine point of light. You also need a dark room.
Excellent! I need to make a Lowes run today,so Ill check them out. Thanks!
