I ate one of our eggs today and thought it tasted a little strange.. not quite right, but not really bad either. I'm guessing it is because the girls have been invading our garden and, among other things, eating a lot of dill seeds. I've read from this forum about garlic and onion tainting eggs.... So here's the idea... [IMG] we embrace the tastes of our chickens and start encouraging consumption of the aromatic vegetables/herbs and raise preflavored eggs... no need to add garlic to your scrambled eggs, or taragon to your hollandaise sauce.[IMG]

Or maybe it could just be our secret ingredient.....

    all in jest.....

When mine indulge in watermelon or cantaloup I get strong flavored eggs.
