Hey everyone! So my sister and i are getting 2 Flemish Giants (rabbits) and we would put them in a huge outdoor run. the floor would be concrete. And there wouldn't be any top on the cage. (the sides are like 5ft tall i think. I was scared a big bird would swoop down and take it off the groung but could a bird swoop a 20lb bunny off the ground. Thanks[IMG]

Honestly, I wouldn't take my chances.

I agree, I wouldn't take my chances. I doubt the bird could carry the bunny off but it may decide to just eat it right there. Do you plan on having any sort of house/shelter for them? I am assuming you do but if not, they really need one

Other things like raccoons could also come in and kill a rabbit. I would probably put a top on the pen just to be safe.
