Flies fleas and horrible things.

ok so were nearing the end of spring so the onset of hot days from summer are coming in and the fly's are horrendous, how oh how am i to get rid of them???

I wish for your heat as I get ready for winter.Some say vanilla scents get rid of them.The ones for cars.That and some fly predators would be good.I would do those before using rotten smelling traps again.Always best to intro beneficial insects.

diatamaceous earth. spread it all over, even put it in their food. in a couple days no insects at all.

oh i think ive heard of this, sounds great but if it kills all the bugs how will it not hurt/poison my hens???
