I have a flock of Self Blue (Lavender) Old English I am ready to part with. I have just decided to forgo raising this particular color because I need to cut back due to feed cost and this color does not cross with the other colors I am currently raising. Almost of the birds are a little on the large side, but they are over all pretty birds. The oldest rooster does have a lot of yellow in his hackle and saddle, but to me it makes him that much prettier. Maybe not something you want to have if you are breeding towards show quality. I have a lot of luck selling babies out of these birds. The hens have been good and fertile for me, but due to the recent heat they haven't been laying as much the last couple of weeks. There are 11 birds total. One Brood Cock (1 Yr Old), 4 Laying Hens (1 Yr Old, 9 Months Old and Two 7 Months Old), 3 Pullets (Two 4-5 Months Old and 3 Months Old), 2 Cockerels (4-5 Months Old) and 1 Chick (3-4 Days Old). They have been nice healthy birds. I have the information of where they all came from and they are all from NPIP flocks. A few are from Ideal and the rest are from two different breeders. There is a mix of genetics from different places, so they are not all related. I am not set up to ship them, but I may meet part way if reasonable. I am asking $75 for all 11 birds. I have a lot more than this in them, but I am ready to get some space opened up and cut down on my feed bill.
