I have 3 5 week old golden seabright. One roo and two pullets. I also have 1 splash,1 black, and 3 white. 3.5 week old silkie bantams.
The chicks have been together since the silkies were 3 days old. In the last two days they seems to have kicked the Black silkie out of their flock. Each time I go outside he is alone on the cool corner and everyone else is huddled sleeping together on the warm side or forging together. Today when I went out to change their water and food I observed the Black silkie try to leave the corner and the roo seabright and one pullet quickly chase it back to the corner. Do you think maybe I just have another roo? My brooder is a 4x 4 square with a mhp the garage can drop to 40 in the cool side. I could bring him inside with my 1 week old Easter Eggers?. I am brand new to chickens I just don’t want him to freeze on the other side of the brooder.
