Flock Raiser vs Duck pellets

We’re getting ready to combine our various batches of chicks into a single coop and all should be ready to get off the medicated starter. The feed store recommended feeding Purina duck pellets to our first batch because it all started with a duck lol. This has always been easy to find luckily. We can’t find an all flock pellet in stock locally and prefer pellets over crumbles (why are chicks so wasteful?!?). Can everyone go onto the duck pellets or should I suck it up to deal with crumble?

You could look into building a 'no waste feeder'. Their are several articles here on BYC about building them.
