We are narrowing down our flock to just the breeds we are planning on breeding and perfecting. If you want to see pictures I have an entire album called "chickens for sale" on my page with over 100 photos at www.Facebook.com/Dark.Star.Farm.

Available is ----

--- 1 Cuckoo Maran flock; 1 Rooster (from breeder, Very friendly) and 5 hens (some from breeder and from meyer hatchery (Can't tell who is who)). Flock is $125 or if you don't want a whole flock you can have a trio (1 rooster and 2 hens) for $50.
Lays darker brown eggs

--- 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte flock; 1 Rooster and 3 hens (best of the golds I have. Portrays nice lacing, correct coloration of legs and have nice rose combs) for $60.
Lays light brown eggs

--- 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte flock; 2 hens for $22 each
Lays light brown eggs

--- 1 French Copper Maran Cockerel (about 2 months) pure bred from Ohio breeder for $12

---- 1 show quality barred cochin pullet from ohio breeder for $25

--- 1 Black Silkie Rooster free to good home.

**All hens are laying and are less than a year and a half old (except for mixed trio which age is stated). Most are just turning a year (all the wyandottes). Also NONE of the roosters are "floggers" (attack people/ kick people). They are all used to humans and are either very friendly or a tad shy. All of these roosters would be able to be around children with out the threat of them attaching them. Please note that almost everyone is molting so that is why there are missing tail feathers and are dull colored feathers in many of the birds. The feathers WILL grow back.

Hello,

I am located in Sperryville VA. Checking to see if you have any birds that would go well with a Rhode Island Red? I recently went on my honneymoon and the animal caretaker left the coop open. :( I lost all my chickens except 1. She is 4 yrs old and is now all by herself. I would like to get her a few friends. The birds can be older and slow at laying. She is more my pet than anything else. I was also wondering if you had any any silkies?! Thank you so much! Also no worries about a repeat event of leaving the coop open. I have ordered a auto, timed door :)

Thank you for your time,

Amanda
