TwoCrows is so sweet!

I don’t know what to say Bob, it’s not fair, what you’re going through!Only Sadness
Joy passed away this morning in my arms. She was not even 6 months old.
In tribute, here is a video of her eating from my hand for the first time only 3 weeks ago.

Strips of something - stiffer plastic or a heavier cloth? Start with just one strip to get them used to it....and gradually add a strip to the other side....slowly closing off the pop door with them...until they get used to it?????I also have a big door and a little door (side by side) and I use the little door to keep some heat in.
I open the people door to go in and do feed and water but close it behind me and leave the little door open so they can come and go.
Also on a day like today I think it significantly reduces the wind blowing inside.
I am even trying to think of ways to reduce the draft through the little door but haven’t come up with anything quite yet.
Sorry, I couldn't resist a heart - the girls look lovely and the scene is so pastoral. Truly looks lovely in her colorful blanket....and her alert earsPony Sunday
Miserable day. Prelude to a miserable winter I bet.
They want in. Soon my lovelies I’ll bring you in.

I read that article. Rats just get scarier and scarier! For Pony Sunday this is worth a read.
It is National Geographic and they will ask for an email address. I am guessing if you don’t have a throw-away one that you can make one up.
I tried printing to pdf but the file is too large for BYC.

You have read my mind!Strips of something - stiffer plastic or a heavier cloth? Start with just one strip to get them used to it....and gradually add a strip to the other side....slowly closing off the pop door with them...until they get used to it?????
Or, maybe make a removable strip...and tack up the center strip temporarily until they get used to it. that way, in the summer, you can easily remove it when you want all the draft you can get???
The cockerel with the white wing feathers. Love himUmmm....who's Mr Spock (in the video)? Birds with white in feathers: Primula and Belladonna (head), Daisy, Violet, Hyacinth, Mera, PITA, Tundra, Arabel, Hawthorne, and Jax.
That's Jax. He figured out he could stand sentinel duty with a "roof"The cockerel with the white wing feathers. Love him![]()
