A friend ordered some chicks from a hatchery, so we went and took 3 Delawares and 3 Australorps off her hands!! They are soooo stinking cute!

I have purchased, and I have hatched, quite a number of chicks, but I still have to spend some time with them every single day. It never gets old. Chicks = love.

Thanks everyone! They settled in nicely last night. When I got home from work today I gave them a fresh layer of "bedding" (paper towels), fresh water, replenished the food supply and snuggled them. I just love them. Hopefully they grow to be very comfortable around me and the kiddos. I want them to be more friendly than our other girls who only come around if I'm holding the right kind of treats! *LOL*
