I have a mystery. I have a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, she was sickly when I got her last spring, but she bounced back and has been a healthy bird from what I can see. But for the last 2 / 3 days, she has been off. Not interested in eating but her craw area has been puffy. When I feel it, it seems to have a little grit and a lot of liquid. This morning I brought her inside for if nothing else, a little peace and quiet. She still really isn’t eating but I picked her up and put her down by the door to see if she was interested in rejoining the group and she started actively pecking some dropped calcium chips by the door. I massaged her craw, just to see what I could feel and she threw up some grey liquid. Are there any thoughts on what this is and what I might do about it? By and large she seems fine, other than she isn’t eating, but she is drinking, and she makes this jerky head bob a lot. Thanks.
