I have 5 girls all about 1 yr old. The 2 Ameraucanas fly a lot. Mostly over the backyard fence 4 ft high, but I am sure they could fly much higher. We want to have a garden in the backyard and do not want the chics in there. So I thought clipping their wings would be the answer. What do you all think?

I'll be doing this to anyone who wants to go over the fence too. Roada Red is right, just trim the primaries from one wing...the goal being to unbalance them so they can't get good lift. Be careful not to trim any blood feathers.
